My name is Darius but my friends call me Spectre
I'm a
young gothic student who's studying a Diploma of Higher
Education course in Accountancy at the University of Salford
in Greater Manchester and a member of the unofficial online
organisation, the Gothic Liberation Front
I'm orginally
from Reading and Hartlepool and I've been into the goth
subculture since i was 19 much to o the annoyance of my
religious paranoid family who are strongly opposed to
anything which doesn't conform to mainstream society via
appearance, music and lifestyle
I was once engaged to be
married but i split up with my finacee a few months ago
because she was extremely snobbish, unsupportive,
undedicated and uncommitted to the relationship and was
basically in it for a wedding and a baby
My favourite bands
are Iron Maiden, Marilyn Manson, Dimmu Borgir, Rammstein,
Evanescence, Slipknot, Korn, Slayer, Sabaton, Turisas,
Bullet For My Valentine, Lordi, Green Day, System Of A Down,
Judas Priest, Paramore, Flyleaf and The Pretty Reckles, my
favourite movies are Harry Potter, The Lord Of The Rings,
Pirates Of The Caribbean, Star Wars, Blade, Hellboy, Van
Helsing and Sleepy Hollow and my favourite books are harry
Potter, The Lord Of The Rings, What Is Goth?, Paint It
Black, Gothic Charm School and Weirdo Mosher Freak
I enjoy
collecting alternative, music and band promotion magazines
such as Metal Hammer, Terrorizer, Ozzfest, Kerrang!, Bizarre
and Rhythm
I love playing the drums and singing and I'm
planning to form a gothic heavy metal band called Deadly
Wish with some friends very soon
My goals in life are to
find the girl of my dreams, graduate from univeristy, move
to Machester permenantly and run my own band memorbilia
