I think I'm a pretty cool person, I can be irritable but
otherwise I'm generally easy going and just want a peaceful
life doing things I enjoy with people I like.
I'm
originally from New Zealand but have been living in the
states in various places for most of my adult life.
My
listed residence is PA but will be moving to the Seattle
area in the near future, so looking to meet some people
there for friendship or something more.
I'm a media whore
and a total geek, but not in a typical way, I know something
about almost everything, and enjoy learning about pretty
much anything.
Chief interests are paranormal/cryptozoology
and the like, The living world, technology/internet/game
industry, comics, movies, reading and so on.
I spend a good
bit of time going to the gym, got pretty outa shape living
in Pittsburgh for a few years so am getting fit again, I
enjoy working out but am not a sporty person, i prefer
weights, running/walking etc
I'm not creative, but would
like to be, I love art and would like to be able to draw,
but am quite happy admiring others creations, so i frequent
Deviantart alot. I do make chainmail jewelry/accessories and
similar things though for my home business so I guess that's
something.
I like travelling and have done quite a bit in
my life. I enjoy nature, as in national parks, the ocean and
such.
I do not have traditional goals as many people do, My
aims in life are to enjoy it and experience as many
different things as possible before I die.
I spend my
time working, which at present is simply a home craft
business that I run with a friend selling online and at
conventions. Doing things with my kids and enjoying my
hobbies, reading comics/books, playing video games, watching
cartoons/anime/ Movies etc.
I said I'm a bit of a media
whore so that means there is way too much to put in this
section, but in general I like...
a) Fantasy, Sci-Fi,
Horror, Thriller, in that order, I like comics/manga and
kids books as well. Tolkien, brandon sanderson, wheel of
time, lovecraft, Harry Potter, Clark ashton Smith, Glen
Cook, Steven Erikson
b) Any Movies are good, I watch
anything and everything although I'm not a retro buff so if
was made before '78 chances are I don't like it.
c) Goth,
Industrial, EBM, Metal, Classic rock, 80's, in no particular
order. Legendary bands for me are The Sisters of Mercy,
Fields of the nephilim, Type O Negative, VNV Nation,
Katatonia, Atoma, Paradise Lost etc.. Very big on Music I
am.
d) Italian stuff, tacos, burgers... pies, Vegemite,
Stuff from New Zealand I can't eat anymore
erm tv, well I
just watch random shit when I'm bored or doing other things,
I like cooking shows for some reason.

Er I'm average height for a guy, Short hair which is always
dyed some random color (most often black with red streaks) I
used to be pretty skinny but got outa shape, so am in the
process of working out a lot so I have no idea what body
type I'll wind up with.
I dress casually.. jeans/shorts
t-shirts, mostly black stuff. I grew out of my dressing
gothy phase a long time ago but that doesn't mean I don't
appreciate it on others, quite the opposite in fact. |

kids (mine are very important to me so if you don't like
