I am a graphic designer in the advertising department of a
large but local furniture company.
A lot of my
thoughts are consumed by creativity in some way- graphic
design, making music, designing my own instruments via
electronics, visual arts. Right now I'm constructing a
paper-making setup. The paper will eventually be used for
printing (block, digital, silkscreen) endeavors.
I've
been involved with making music since I was 14. The first
productions with my name attached date back to the mid-late
90s (death metal, hardcore). I am most interested in analog
electronic hardware (drum machines, synthesizers) but did
about 4 years heavily into Reason (software). Analog sound
and control is really where it is at for live
performance.
The other half of my thoughts is usually
concerning my son. He is almost 2 years old now, and
wonderful for every second I spend with him. He understands
how simple controls work, likes to dance when he hears music
and smiles when I make beats for him. Part of me shall
forever rest in quiet adoration of him.
I highly value
my time alone. I enjoy some sociability. I am often at AIGA
events in the Detroit area.
I like clubbing but only
at industrial/goth dives. High-end clubs are nice but
usually the music is really bad commercial techno. Fetish
events are usually fun and fuel my fascination for corsets
and boots (on women :)). I'm particular over corset and boot
styles. I became really excited when a professional
corsetier shop opened in the city where I live. Custom-made
corsets (the only real way to have one that properly fits a
body) and nice riding boots with a heel are always
flattering in my eyes...multi-buckled stompy platforms and
ill-shaping Hot Topic “corsets” aren't my thing. :/ |
